My Sassy Girl-Korean(2001)


VERDICT: A splendid arena where the moments of ecstasy and sadness hug each-other

Storyline

Based on a series of true stories posted by Ho-sik Kim on the Internet describing his relationship with his girlfriend. These were later transformed into a best-selling book and the movie follows the book closely. It describes the meeting of Kyun-woo (Cha) and an unnamed girl. Kyun-woo is shamed into assisting the girl because the other passengers mistakenly think she is his girlfriend. Once he helps her, Kyun-woo develops a deep sense of responsibility for her which enables him to tolerate (somehow) the girls abuses.

Credits:


1. The sassy-nature of the lead actress and the innocuous hero captivates our whole mind.
2. Riveting screenplay and stimulating photography makes it a emotional & visual treat.
3. Best-served, when its watched with your opposite. 


Recommended for: Lovers,pairs in dating and youngsters



Windstruck(Korean)-2004

VERDICT: Possible Tearjerker, a Korean-roller coaster ride into a fun filled melodramatic experience



Genre: Comedy, Romance, Drama


Personal Rating:  7.5/10


Storyline:

When police officer Kyungjin met with Myungwoo accidentally in a crime, she found that this responsible teacher was a really nice guy. At that night, Kyungjin got into a fight with a bunch of high school kids and got trouble in a big gun fight between rival drug dealers. Myungwoo tried to help her but then something happened that forces them stayed together all day long. They got closer to each other and Myungwoo was not able to repulse the strange but pure nature. He fell in love with her. One day, when Kyungjin was chasing a notorious criminal, Myungwoo helped her again, however, not knowing that what would happen that day changed their relationship forever...

Credits:


1. Initial minutes of rib-tickling comedy from the lead pair
2. Original Soundtrack changes even the simple sequence into a tear-jerking emotional happening.
3. Enormous performance from Jeon Ji-hyun (Police officer-Kyung jin yeo)


Recommended for:  Pairs planning for break-up and divorce its a must-see. For the rest, its really nice to see this Korean pair folks. Can be Seen once.

The Social Network

Verdict: Fantastic Drama, Best of the Year, Must See Flick..

Storyline:

On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

Credits:

1. Director David's brilliant scripting and spruce Filming.
2. Jesse Eisenhower's way of delivering dialogues.
3. Based on the most famous networking site, thus making it familiar & interesting.


Recommended for: Individuals who are planning to start a business via Internet (and also who have suits pending in the court). Can be seen by all above 15yrs since children hates this kinda drama.
